WHAT IS NATUROPATHIC MEDICINE?
The goal of naturopathic medicine is to enhance health, prevent illness and treat disease using natural therapies which support the body’s innate ability to heal.
The therapeutic approaches used integrate the latest scientific research with traditional healing wisdom. Naturopathic treatments can complement conventional medicine or sometimes be used effectively on their own. The result is a safe, effective, and individualized approach which can help a wide variety of health concerns. Some of the more common conditions treated include: women’s health issues (menopausal symptoms, PMS and menstrual disorders, infertility, and breast health), chronic headaches, digestive disorders, asthma, chronic allergies, arthritis, high blood pressure, and thyroid disorders.
