This trip changed me
As you likely know, I just got back from the most amazing trip to Bali. I’ve been fortunate to travel to many places in my life, but this was different. Honestly, it was my favourite trip ever.
The places I visited were stunning — rice terraces, temples, waterfalls — but what made it truly special was everything beyond the scenery.
The Balinese are some of the most openhearted, gracious people I’ve ever met. They radiate happiness and welcome you in a way that feels so genuine. When we left the villa where we stayed for 5 days, several of the staff members cried. They took videos of us during our time there as much as we were taking videos of them! I’ve never experienced such a sense of welcome by the staff anywhere else I’ve stayed.
Not once in two weeks did I see a fast food restaurant. Instead, every meal was fresh, colourful, and prepared with intention and care. You could feel that in every bite. And my digestive system was very happy, too.
This was the part I didn’t expect. Each day began with yoga and meditation. We took part in sound healing, a sacred water ceremony, and a group mantra chanting. I met with a healer who helped me with patterns I’ve been working on for years, and a yogi gave me my own personal mantra.
There were a lot of tears - both happy and sad. And along the way, something shifted. I came home with a new sense of peace, compassion, and clarity about my own path — both personally and professionally.
Coming back home
Now that I’m back to laundry, work, and busy family life, it’s harder to hold on to that Bali peace. But I know I’ve been given tools to keep practicing it.
This trip reminded me: true health is so much more than supplements, workouts, or even hitting your macros (though those matter too!). Real wellness means caring for your mind and spirit just as much as your body, including creating quiet space for meditation, prayer, or reflection each day.
That’s the approach I bring into my practice and my coaching: helping women integrate all aspects of wellness, not just the physical.
What’s Next
At the same time, I know that many women struggle with the “how.” You know strength training and good nutrition matter, but real life and conflicting advice make it hard to implement.
That’s why I’m excited to share that I’ll be launching a brand-new 3-Week Program starting October 13 designed to help you put it all into action.
It’s just $99 US and perfect if you’re ready to:
• Balance your cortisol
• Reduce inflammation
• Boost your energy
• Improve your long-term health
I’ll be there guiding you every step of the way. You can check it out and save your spot here:
